Punch Bowl Social on Congress Ave delivered a fantastic experience for our team outing. From the moment we arrived, Antonio greeted us with a warm and cheerful welcome, guiding us to our bowling lanes where the setup was already prepared with an array of food. Once settled, Peter took over as our host for the evening, ensuring everyone had their drink orders sorted, troubleshooting any bowling lane issues, and staying attentive to our needs throughout the evening. A big shoutout to Antonio and Peter for their outstanding hospitality—they made us feel completely at home.

The food setup was generous, catering to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Highlights included the Falafel Sliders, which were a hit, and a variety of veggies served with hummus and other dips. The Sweet Potato Fries, Brussel Sprouts, and Guacamole were all solid choices for casual bites. While the Pretzels were hit or miss, they added to the variety. I didn’t personally try the chicken or meat sliders, but teammates mentioned they were decent. Overall, the food was surprisingly good considering it was served in a bowling alley setting.

This was my first time experiencing Duckpin Bowling, and it was such a fun twist! Unlike traditional 10-pin bowling, duckpin involves a smaller, finger-hole-free ball and allows for three rolls per frame, similar to candlepin bowling. The unique format added an exciting element to the game, and our team thoroughly enjoyed it. This is definitely something I’d love to try again when the opportunity arises.

Beyond bowling, the venue offered plenty of activities. There’s a karaoke section, a small-sized arcade area, and even a cornhole/beanbag toss section. The variety of entertainment options makes it a versatile venue perfect for team outings, parties, or just a fun night out with friends.

The place was lively and bustling, with a vibrant energy that added to the experience. It’s clearly a popular spot, so reservations or early arrivals might be wise.

Punch Bowl Social is a great choice for a fun and engaging outing. The combination of good food, excellent service, and unique entertainment options makes it a must-try. Thanks again to Antonio and Peter for elevating our experience. We’d definitely love to return for another round of duckpin bowling and good times!

I had an amazing experience at the bar thanks to Sam, the bartender. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel right at home. Sam's cocktail skills are absolutely top-notch; she crafted some of the best drinks I've ever had. Her high knowledge about the bar and its extensive offerings was truly impressive. Whether you're a fan of classic cocktails or looking to try something new, Sam always has the perfect recommendation.
What really stood out was her attention to detail and her ability to remember everyone's preferences. She effortlessly managed a busy bar while still providing personalized service to each guest. Sam's friendly and welcoming attitude created a fun and relaxed atmosphere that made the night even better. Her passion for her craft is evident in every drink she makes.
Overall, Sam's exceptional service and expertise made my visit unforgettable. If you're looking for a great night out, I highly recommend stopping by and having Sam mix up some drinks for you. You won't be disappointed!

Our date at this Punch bowl social location downtown. was absolutely perfect. The food was exquisite, and the drink menu offered a great variety of options. We loved being able to challenge each other to arcade games and then have a fun time bowling. They should reach out to Austin360Cam @Austin360Cam about adding a 360PHOTO booth. The atmosphere was lively, making it an ideal setting for a fun evening. The service was impeccable, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. We sat in the bar area. We'll definitely be returning to this fantastic spot for more memorable dates!

Service was great! The atmosphere is good. However the food is expensive and terrible. In this economy eating out as a family is a very rare occasion for us. We decided to try this place and left completely unsatisfied and hangry. I ordered wings. The wings/chicken had an odd rubbery taste. The chicken they used was definitely old and not fresh. I could only eat two and I was done. I couldn’t bring myself to eat anymore in fear of food poisoning. We paid $70 for one kids meal one entree and an appetizer!! Crazy considering the quality. I will never be back and advise you go elsewhere to enjoy a meal.

My husband & I went here for a late-ish lunch while visiting Austin and we had such a nice experience! The atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant was fun and we enjoyed looking around while waiting for our food. The skillet bread was absolutely delicious and looked as amazing as it tasted. Our server, Matthew, was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and happily answered our questions about Austin. He was very sweet and made us feel very welcome to the city. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Austin (:

Don't waste your time! This place is beyond pathetic. Bartenders have the charisma of a pack of ants (entire staff looked very defeated; like they're in a prisoner camp). I actually thought a few of them were mute.

On top of that the drinks suck. No alcohol, all sugar smh! Gross

Take the five minute walk to Rock Rose Ave and you'll have a bunch more options. It's well worth it!!!
