Very pleasant experience. Logged in via the QR code and we were taken right away as the doors opened. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were in and out within 15 minutes. I was expecting long DMV-type waiting times and chaos but this office is extremely organized; very pleasantly surprised.

I had a very positive experience with my in person walk-in visit at the Social Security offices in Woodstock, IL. I was seen within 3 minutes of walking in the doors. The staff were professional and friendly. Ms Sigala assisted me with my query and she was very helpful and compassionate. (I was there to file for spousal benefits after the very recent passing of my husband). Thank you to everyone who assisted me. My benefits have already been deposited (2 days after my visit)! I cannot understand the low rating this office has, as I received sterling services. I cannot thank them enough!

There is a QR code on the front door to get yourself checked in beforehand. It is highly recommended !!! I was in and out of the Woodstock facility in 15.0 minutes on a Thursday morning. The person I worked with was courteous, helpful, and quick.
Don't know why all the negative reviews.

We had a scheduled appointment today with Matthew. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. In 15 minutes he answered all of our questions and told us the next steps available if we want to proceed with collecting SS monthly benefits.
The phone called even dropped due to the blizzard we are experiencing and he called back within a few minutes to finish the phone appointment.

I had a great experience at this office. I Went there to get my name updated. I called first and was told don't need any appointment for name changing, just walked in, got a number and waited for about one hour, got thing done pretty fast. The lady was super nice and very patient, friendly and informative(sorry I am not able to remember the exact window number I was at that day, but it is the window towards the entrance).
P.S. the Security Gentleman was super nice too, his great sense of humor made our waiting time more fun and joyful!

The office is very organized, the key thing is for you to be prepared. First when you arrive make sure you do online check in with your phone or you will have to wait inline to log in on a terminal they have you sign into, that's first. Make sure you have a clear concise questions to get things done in a efficient manner, be prepared.

I worked with Tom and he was very informative and kind. Just remember to be prepared and it will be an easy experience.
